After completing a master’s degree in Visual Arts at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, Stefan Clappaert studied Dutch and French Literature and Linguistics at Ghent University, where he wrote an MA thesis on the art criticism of Charles Baudelaire and specifically the author’s predilection for traditional painting.
