Biography
Alison Luyten is a guest professor of Literary Studies and Research Methodology at Vrije Universiteit Brussels. After having studied Art History in Ghent (MA) and English Literature in Antwerp (MA), she carried out her doctoral research at the Centre for Manuscript Genetics at the University of Antwerp, where she explored the distributed nature of cognitive processes in modernist fictional and writing minds, with a special emphasis on the work of Virginia Woolf. Her research interests include modernist literature, cognitive narratology, audiodrama, and hybrid storytelling.
