You are warmly invited to this semester’s CLIC activities focusing on “Intermediality”. A first guest lecture by Jarmila Mildorf (University of Paderborn) will take place on Tuesday, 8 March, at 3 p.m. in D.3.11. You can find further information (abstract and bionote) on the event page.
On Friday, 25 March, the international workshop “Radio and Cultural Memory” will take place at VUB, in room I.1.03 (from 8.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m.), organised by Inge Arteel and Birgit Van Puymbroeck, a collaboration between CLIC, SEL, 20CC and funded by DsH. During the workshop, Andreas Fickers (University of Luxemburg), who is taking up the Lorand Chair Intermediality this year, will act as a respondent to the papers. Please also already save the date for another guest lecture by Marius Hentea (University of Gothenburg, one of VUB’s EUTOPIA partners), which will take place on Wednesday, 27 April, at 2 p.m. (online). The title of the lecture is "Ezra Pound and Radio Treason".
