Gert Valentijn

Gert Valentijn graduated in Romance Languages at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2006 and currently works as a French and Spanish lecturer at the University of Ghent and the Arteveldehogeschool. In 2019 he also started as a PhD candidate at VUB. His research project examines the influence of short form poetry and haiku on non-religious mysticism in contemporary French poetry.
