Biography
Sheree Mack is a freelance writer and academic. She received my doctorate in Creative Writing, in 2010 from Newcastle University. This is a hybrid thesis focusing on the tradition of black British women's poetry as well as a collection of poetry, Family Album. This collection was published in 2011 by Flambard Press. Currently she is working on a text book with Kingston University Press titled, A Collage of Voices: Contemporary Black British Women's Poetry. She teaches for the Open University and is writer in residence in The Literary and Philosophical Society, Newcastle.
