Ellen Gillard

Ellen Gillard leads the research department at RITCS School of Arts (EhB). She is  working across philosophy, art, and literature, currently investigating concepts such as presence and absence, sound and silence across artistic forms. Her practice combines theoretical reflection, essayistic writing, and artistic inquiry, investigating how form and content intersect to articulate experiences that resist conventional closure.

With degrees in Philosophy, Psychology, and Educational Sciences she contributes to teaching and collaborative projects in the arts. Her publications span academic journals, literary platforms, and artistic research projects.
