The MERLIT Research Team invites you to join a hands-on workshop featuring Sankofa’s Cosmic Adansikro; an interactive, web-based game created by Elizabeth 'Lisa' Abena Osei, an interdisciplinary researcher, game designer, and cultural theorist based at the University of Maryland.
Inspired by African speculative fiction, cultural memory, and digital world-building, the game draws from works such as The Deep, Pet, Binti, and Midnight Robber to explore Black futures through immersive storytelling and speculative mapping.
Expect a creative workshop on conversations about Black digital memory and cultural technology.
