Biography
Permanent Professor of the area of Didactics of Language and Literature at the University of Alicante. Teaching in Degrees and Masters of the Faculty of Education.
Degree in Hispanic Philology and PhD in Educational Research from the University of Alicante. Doctoral thesis: Children's and young adult literature on the Internet. From the Virtual Cervantes to the LIJ 2.0. Tools and spaces for its study and dissemination (2015). Extraordinary PhD Award 2018 and Santander-UA Chair Award for Digital Transformation 2018. He has been a lecturer of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) at the Universita degli studi di Salerno and at the Università degli studi di Napoli “Suor Orsola Benincasa” between 1999 and 2007 and collaborating professor at the Instituto Cervantes in Naples.
ViceDirector of the Department of Innovation and Didactic Training and Coordinator of the area of Language and Literature Didactics (since 2021). Coordinator of Unicómic, las jornadas del comic de la Universidad de Alicante and secretary of the Aula del comic of the University of Alicante. Member of the Centro de Centro de Estudios Literarios Iberoamericanos Mario Benedetti and the research group Educación Literaria y Lingüística en Español e Inglés (ELEI_UA). Principal Investigator (PI) for the University of Alicante of the project LMOOCs for university students on the move (MOOC2move) Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education Agreement No. 2018-1-FR01-KA203-048165 https://web.ua.es/mooc2move/. Co-leader of working group 5 “Comics and Education” of the COST Action iCOn-MICs. “Research on comics and graphic novels in the Iberian cultural area” https://iconmics.hypotheses.org/.
