Katarína Rendošová

Katarína Rendošová is a PhD student at the Department of British and American Studies at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia, and is also pursuing a double PhD degree in collaboration with the University of the Balearic Islands in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Her doctoral research focuses on contemporary Black British and African American coming-of-age narratives, particularly their engagement with questions of identity, belonging, migration, memory, and postcolonial and postmigration experiences. She works with authors including Bernardine Evaristo, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Yaa Gyasi, whose works explore individual and collective experiences of race, migration, displacement, and cultural identity.
