
MERLIT researchers Maxime Honinx, Josephine Ofei, Eva Ulrike Pirker and Ceyda Temurok - as well as associated researcher, Tola Ositelu will participate in the annual ACLALS Conference 1-5 July 2025, at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

MERLIT and associated researchers will be presenting as a panel on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 July as part of the parallel session: Meritocracy, Writing and the Contingency of Language.
Conference keynote speakers include postcolonial theorist, Simon Gikandi; author, Yvonne Owuor; African literature scholar, Grace Musila; author, Goretti Kyomuhendo and writer, Mũkoma wa Ngũgĩ.
