Biography
Muhammad Naseem is from Pakistan, and he holds a master’s degree in English Literature, which he obtained in 2020 from Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan. He has joined the Centre for Literary and Intermedial Crossings (CLIC) team in September 2022 as a PhD fellow on a grant from University of Baltistan, Skardu Pakistan. He is doing his PhD Linguistics and Literary Studies on Pakistani literature in English. He will be investigating how Pakistaniness is constructed in Pakistani literature in English drawing on theoretical insights from Diaspora Studies, Migration Studies, Postcolonial Studies, and Multiculturalism. His previous research also focused on Pakistani literature in English and Pakistani folk literature.
