Yu Wang

Yu Wang (Helga) joined the CLIC as a PhD student in the September of 2022, she holds the BA in English Language and Literature and the MA in Chinese Language and Literature. She is working on the PhD project “Chinese Perspectives of Affective Spaces and Urban Memories in Transitional European Cities” (under the supervision of Prof. Guillermo Sanz Gallego), the research aims to examine the urban cross-cultural interactions through the conceptual lens of memory and identity issues, the significance of cultural transfer and modernism in the transferring periods within a global context can be further explored.
