CLIC has developed a series of Grant Writing Resources for its researchers to use at different stages in their career. These tools can be accessed by clicking the links below (NB: only accessible for CLIC researchers).
- CLIC’s Funding Map gives an overview of various funding channels relevant for researchers (wishing to become) affiliated with the Large Research Group CLIC at VUB. The document contains brief descriptions of small and large national (Flemish/Belgian) and international funding calls and their relevance for CLIC researchers, together with call dates, grant sizes, and success rates, links to the call websites, and other information and resources that will help CLIC researchers locate funding opportunities of interest to them. It also mentions CLIC researchers who have experience with the funder.
- CLIC’s Journal Catalogue contains a list of journals that CLIC members may use to be more strategic about where they publish their research. Journals included have to be listed in Web of Science (WoS), SCOPUS, and/or VABB-SHW (preferably VABB-SHW and at least one of either WoS or SCOPUS), and fully Open-Access journals are given priority. There is also a list of CLIC members who have published with the journal.
- CLIC’s Research Group Data Management Plan (rgDMP) is an umbrella DMP aimed at helping CLIC researchers draw up a DMP for their individual projects. The document outlines CLIC’s policy and good practices for research data management and will be regularly (and at least annually) revisited, corrected, and updated. Any researcher within CLIC is welcome to provide feedback to ensure that the content remains useful and timely. CLIC moreover practices an open access policy and invites its researchers to share this document with any external researchers who might benefit from it.
