Jennifer Leetsch

Jennifer Leetsch is Lecturer in English Literature and British Cultural Studies at Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Germany, where she teaches modules on Gender Studies, Feminism, Postcolonial Studies, Disability Studies and on Contemporary Fiction. Her research interests include, amongst others, Diaspora and Migration Studies, Queer Studies, Crip Theory, Autobiography / Autofiction, and Feminist Ecocriticism.

She has published on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in the Journal of Popular Romance Studies (2017) and on Helen Oyeyemi in the edited collection Locating African European Studies: Interventions – Intersections – Coalitions (forthcoming with Routledge in 2018) and is currently working on a monograph on Be/longing: At the Intersections of Love and Space in Contemporary Afro-Diasporic Women’s Writing which examines the interlinked notions of love and space in the works of Chimamanda Adichie, Zadie Smith, Helen Oyeyemi, Warsan Shire, and Shailja Patel.
